Called to Serve in the Washington Spokane Mission
"Come, Thou fount of every blessing, Tune my heart to sing Thy grace, Streams of mercy, never ceasing, Call for songs of loudest praise. While the hope of endless glory Fills my heart with joy and love, Teach me ever to adore Thee, May I still Thy goodness prove."

A Bit of a Medical Break

This is Sister Worthen's Mom and Dad.  Taya had a bit of a setback with her health when she was serving on her mission.  She developed some digestive issues during the month of February.  The issues were just bad enough that the missionary medical department and her mission President thought it be better that she come home.  The idea was for her doctor to treat her here at home, and hopefully be able to heal up to the point that she could go back and continue to serve her mission in Spokane.  She was home for about seven weeks, during which time the doctors were able to find some causes for her health issues, and were able to provide her with some treatment solutions.  That, coupled with a new diet that is working well for her, has allowed her to be able to go back and continue her mission.  She flew back to Spokane on Monday, April 18th.  She is excited to get back to continue her mission and serve among the wonderful people there.  We are looking forward to hearing about her new area, and new companion, and how the work is going there.  And we will continue to keep this blog updated with her letters.  Thank you all for your support and kindness that you have given to her, and continue to show her.  - Brad and Angie Worthen
